your A4 sheet, a little more useful
Print photocards on A4 paper
A4 paper measures 210 × 297 mm. The tool lays out full-size cards with a 5 mm outer margin and 3 mm space between cards. These gaps leave room for cutting and crop marks.
Choose nine or ten cards per sheet
The default A4 nine-card layout is portrait (3 × 3). Choose A4 ten-card in Print settings for landscape (5 × 2). Both preserve the selected 55 × 85 mm or 54 × 86 mm card size. For example, 60 cards need seven nine-card sheets or six ten-card sheets.
Fixed layouts keep their orientation even when another layout would use fewer sheets. Only Auto chooses the fewest pages, then the higher capacity. Cards keep their physical dimensions; the tool does not shrink or stretch them to squeeze in another row.
Copies and pages
The nine-photo limit counts source images, not finished cards. For example, one photo with 12 copies produces 12 cards across two A4 sheets at the default size. The preview shows one sheet at a time. Cards start grouped by design; Move cards can exchange individual copies, including between pages.
A project supports up to 100 copies per photo, 300 finished cards and 40 pages, whichever limit is reached first. These are processing limits, not a promise about every phone or printer.
Print the PDF at its original size
Load A4 paper, choose A4 in the print driver, and select Actual size / 100%. A 5 mm margin is a layout allowance; some printers require a larger unprintable area. Test on your printer before using expensive paper.
Download the separate calibration sheet and measure both 50 mm rulers. The calibration sheet does not add a page to your card PDF.
